WRITE LINKS MEETINGS

Write Links meetings are generally held on the first or last Saturday of the month at the State Library of Qld and online. This can vary due to availability of venue.

These meetings are for financial members of Book Links but non-members can attend for up to 2 meetings to see how they work.

The meeting structure is generally:
● 1:00 pm – Topic of interest or professional development
● 2:00 pm – Networking and Creative Wisdom
● 3.00-5.00 – Critique groups

Workshop meetings are also scattered throughout the year and on those days sessions can begin earlier. Sometime there is a fee to attend to cover presenter fees.

For paid workshops, anyone can attend, and financial members receive discounted attendance.

Workshop meetings generally start at 12:30.

Meetings take place IN PERSON, via ZOOM or a HYBRID of both. Links to join online will be supplied at the point of booking.

BOOKINGS

For paid workshops, costs are generally $15.00 for Book Links members and $25.00 for non-members per session and can be booked through Humanitix.

Facebook events are created roughly 2 weeks prior to each meeting on the Write Links Facebook group and will contain any last minute updates to times, venue or speaker.

If you are a Book Links member but have not yet joined the Write Links Facebook Group, you will need to request approval to be added.

Please read the Write Links Community Guidelines first and be prepared to answer the questions at the point of joining.

Please note you must be a financial member of Book Links to join the closed group. JOIN BOOK LINKS FOR THE Calendar Year.
